- The mission of 1 In 6 is to help men who have had unwanted or abusive sexual experiences live healthier, happier lives. Their mission also includes serving family members, friends, and service providers by offering information and support resources online and in the community.

- There has been an attempt to eliminate scouting through the lawsuits of survivors of sexual abuse while in the BSA. There is no excuse for this behavior from the adults who are trusted by parents, however the BSA have partnered with 1 IN 6 to fight this epidemic. They are doing some amazing things.
